WHAT (the heck) is

body philosophy club?

This business is a response to a desire to learn about existence, by way of the everyday inhabiting of clothing-- soft, itchy, tight, loose, short, long. We are less interested in being a fashion business. We are more interested in how bodies respond uniquely to the feeling of being clothed, how we in our bodies choose and wear and then one day part from a garment. How our bodies, and thereby our clothes, are containers for emotions, ideas, sensations. How clothing can help us feel more like ourselves.

So this business is actually just a front for the real thing:

a project that endeavors to make space for the emotions humans feel while occupying and attempting to clothe their particular bodies.

Our clothing happens in collections that are organized as responses to questions

Or our clothing happens as pop-up sales, mostly in the Bay Area.
