Clothes! Do you have too many clothes? Are you failing to wear them, even though they’re perfectly usable? Does your wardrobe need reinvigoration? Should you probably not spend more money right now? Let your clothes bring joy into a new wearer’s life! And pick up some new-to-you clothes too. At The Ruby’s Clothing Swap, clothing will be hung onto racks and organized by type. (There will be no rifling, raccoon-like, through garbage bags!) Pick up a new outfit or four and feel good that your old clothes will find their way into a new home.
Bring your gently used clothing, shoes, and jewelry to The Ruby by Friday, November 30, so we can organize the items.
At 2 p.m., we'll have a discussion about clothes and fashion featuring Belle Bueti, Grace Lavery, Jillian Knox, and Candace Hynson, and moderated by Ruby Aku Ammah-Tagoe.
PLEASE NOTE: The Ruby is an arts & letters–focused work and gathering space for creative Bay Area women of all definitions. All are welcome to this event with RSVP (regardless of membership status or gender identity). No walk-ins, please; details about our location via email!
