This shirt happened because of being in a Castro garage and pulling a sweatshirt out of a big pile of things about 5 years ago. It was this same design, but still in the plastic so I didn't really know what I was buying. When I got home and opened it up, l discovered that it was printed in 1987, the same year l was born, with a map of the winter stars that were overhead when I first made my arrival here on planet earth. A little while ago I decided to do some googling, and found that they are still making this design for science museums and astronomy nerds, so I decided to give Matthew a call! He answered immediately and said even though he doesn't usually do custom, he'd do it for us because the pandemic hit his business really hard ("just me and one other person in a 25,000 square foot warehouse now"). So here we are, a few emails and texts and funny phone calls later....a useful but equally cute tee for you to wear while riding on this horribly tragic but still drop dead beautiful celestial body.
